I can't wait...

This entry was supposed to be the big reveal of where we are moving to. It was going to be so exciting! Everyone was going to jump up and down with excitement! The post was going to bring readers everywhere to tears! I was going to tell you all of the intricate details of our big plans and when we would be somewhere!

I've got to stop planning out what I'm going to write about.

We are now a week and half out and we still don't know where we're going. We do know that it's going to be in California. But we don't know where. So, of course, that means I don't know when we're moving in to where or how. Or when I'll see him. This has most definitely been a trying time for both of us. It's put a lot of stress, worry, and anxiety on both of our hearts. It's much more difficult than I would have imagined. It's so much easier to say you have faith and say you have trust when everything is going your way. When you feel like you're running around blind, it's a whole lot more difficult to just trust. That will definitely be my prayer this week. To have faith that everything will work out perfectly in perfect timing.

Until then I can only dream...
I can't wait to make my husband dinner.
I can't wait to start our Total Money Makeover.
I can't wait to have babies. (But don't worry, I can.)
I can't wait to live in a new city.
I can't wait to become a member at a church.
I can't wait to decorate our new house.
I can't wait to worship with my husband.
I can't wait to meet Marine wives.
I can't wait to watch movies on our couch and eat chocolate ice cream with sprinkles.
On that note, I can't wait to wake up in the morning and go jogging in my spandex pants.
I can't wait to get a dog named Bear.
I can't wait to be at our house when Scott comes home everyday.
I can't wait to wear my clothes and pretend they're new since no one there has ever seen them.
I can't wait to make friends.
I can't wait to send out Christmas cards and wedding/new home announcements.
I can't wait to do couples Bible studies.
I can't wait to kiss him every day.
I can't wait to learn new things.
I can't wait to get really good at the public bus system.
I can't wait to buy fresh food.
I can't wait to find out where we are going.

I'll let you know something as soon as I know something. Thanks for supporting us.

Edit: I also cannot wait to put up a Christmas tree with my husband in our new house.

San Diego, California. Woo!

I took 662 pictures in California. I narrowed it down to 223 facebook worthy ones. And then I was left to narrow it down further to blog worthy pics. Which is when my productivity came to a halt. How much is too much for a blog? Would it take years for people to load 662 pictures to their computers? Does anyone even care? I did my best to sort through and delete but turns out, I'm terrible at that. And I ended up with about 222 pictures that I wanted to post on the blog (I figured you didn't need to see all 35 creepy baby pictures. Just 34 of them...) So then after much prayer and deliberation I decided to just post a link to my facebook pictures and only show you my favorite part of the trip on here. I promise I will be trying very hard to get better at picking pictures. But until then, just check 'em out on facebook.

There's something for everyone...

Sharks.

Muscles.

Really cute girls and boys picking their noses.

Babies, so many babies.

Ice cream!

Ray Bans.

Pig beauty.

Africa! If you love Africa, check this out.

And monkeys...

...of all kinds.

The thing I couldn't compromise was showing you how wonderful Balboa Park is! It was like Central Park, but much smaller and cleaner and less park-like... It is in my top 10 favorite places. Right along with Julie Ware's house, Scott's arms, and Central Market.

This is the "Art Center". Pictures weren't allowed so I had to be discrete. The art was amazing! But I didn't want to to take too many pics, I felt bad.

And there were street performers, they were all so good!

The architecture was also amazing! These are just a few of many.

And the people were awesome!

Lastly, I wanted to add this picture just because it makes me smile and I hope it will make you smile too!

Love you all! Have a nice week.

PS- Scott and I should find out where we're stationed this week! Pray that God will put us exactly where He wants us. And that all of the planning and packing will go smoothly. Pray that we will be put where ever He can use us for the greater good of His Kingdom. Thanks!

So much to do, so little time.

I had intentions of telling you all about my trip to San Diego this weekend. I was going to post an unnecessary amount of pictures of animals from the zoo and of cute babies from Sea World. I was even going to write a sweet post about Valentines Day and how great Scott is!

But then I realized that I have 4 quizzes due, one physical activity/nutrition log due, defensive driving, Grey’s Anatomy, and work at the rec all to do before Friday. Not to mention a ton of random wife-y things to do, including mailing money to my BFF Lauren to get my t-shirt to support her on her trip to Ethiopia (you should too! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=316213068551&index=1). And it’s already Tuesday. None of these things are done. Not that I want to, but I think I should focus on these things for the next few days and I promise promise promise to fill you in on our wonderful weekend together in San Diego next week.

For now, this is all I've got to give:

Happy third week in February!

Wedding favorites.

I've had a busy week of editing and uploading pictures. It's all I can think about. So, for this post I've decided to include my most favorite 64 pictures from our wedding.

Here they are!

Now that you've had a thorough overview of our wedding I have some good news. Scott received his MOS (job) this past week and he got just what he wanted! He is an 0341 Morterman. He says it's safe, so I'm happy too. Also, I'm getting to fly out there again this upcoming weekend! He has a 72. Which means he gets 3 days off and it's Valentines Day. I couldn't resist! I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Here's the link to the other 600 wedding photos and to the rest of the California ones. If you have a spare hour or two this would be a great way to pass the time.

Hope everyone is staying warm and dry. Have a wonderful week!
